This Group is open to anyone who is interested in investigating their Family History - from beginners to experienced researchers.

PLEASE NOTE: There is no meeting in AUGUST or DECEMBER

We are a friendly group with a common interest in discovering who our ancestors were and how they lived. We discuss our findings, share recent news from genealogy research resources and help each other with new approaches to finding answers.

Our meetings have 2 formats:

1. Member updates - sharing progress, discoveries and tips; or....
2. Thematic contributions - members share findings from their own family trees on the topic for the month. Previous topics have included: the sea, trades and crafts, crime and punishment, migration, Scottish/Irish ancestors, medicine/illness.

The group is currently accepting new members who will be made very welcome.
