Our group members choose the books we read, study and discuss. We study a mixture of modern authors (e.g. Maggie O'Farrell) and the occasional classic (e.g. Steinbeck's The Grapes of Wrath)

The atmosphere is lively and friendly and it is often during the discussion that we are able to recommend to each other books we have read individually.

• MEETINGS: 4th Monday of each month at 12.30pm
• VENUE: The Carnegie Room, Newbury Central Library in the Wharf
