We began in January 2016 and have read a mixture of classics and modern books.

We borrow book group sets of 10 from Newbury Library and currently meet at The Waterside Cafe, alongside the canal.

There, we discuss that month's book choice and have a coffee and perhaps a cake as well.

We then make our way to the library, return our books and take out the next one.

Book choice is made by different members each month, unbeknown to others.

Some books are good, some are bad, and some are very controversial.
