We read one book a month and have an interesting discussion about it at the next meeting. Members take it in turns to present the book prior to general discussion.

Our friendly discussions are lively and we often find ourselves surprised when we hear more about an author's life and other members' views on particular books.

• MEETINGS: 3rd Monday in the month at 12.45 - 2.00pm.
• VENUE: The Carnegie Room, Newbury Central Library in the Wharf, Newbury.
• COST: £3 per person per year for Library Book Borrowing and a small contribution to the room hire.

After our discussion we have a cup of tea and cake, which the group take it in turns to provide.
