Currently we are open to new members.

We read a range of poets e.g. in the last few months; Coleridge, Burns, Blake, John Clare, Robert Browning, Sylvia Plath, Simon Armitage.

No prior knowledge is necessary. Usually a poet is new to some or all members of the group.

I give out poems for the following month at the end of each session so members can prepare in advance if they wish.

We read about 6 or 7 poems per session and exchange ideas freely.

We meet fortnightly on Friday afternoon, 4 - 5pm, upstairs in THE CORN EXCHANGE.
