The title is self-explanatory. We meet on the 2nd Sunday at 1.30pm and 4th Saturday of the month at 11 am. On the Sunday walk we usually have a snack at a Garden centre or similar. On the Saturday walk we have a pub lunch.

We are a very friendly group who enjoy walking. The walks are usually within 10 miles of Newbury. Some of our regular walks have been from Greenham Common,, Snelsmore Common, Thatcham Discovery Centre and Hampstead Norreys. There is no charge for the group

The group is not full as various walkers meet at different times of the day. We always need people to lead walks.

Our walks are circular and about 3 miles long. We encourage our members to take turns in planning a walk so as to get a good variety throughout the year.

Both our morning and afternoon walks finish with a meal which makes a very congenial way to end the event. The morning walk finishes at a Pub for Saturday Lunch while the Sunday afternoon walk ends with tea and cakes somewhere.
